De Panne features a number of different nature reserves such as De Westhoek, the Kerkepannebos, the municipal reserve of Oosthoek, the Calmeynbos and the Krakeel dunes.
Visitors can also enjoy a walk along the 2.5 km-long sea dyke. The beach at De Panne has no breakwaters and is the widest beach on the Belgian coast making it an ideal place for sand yachting.
De Panne is also a fabulous place to shop with innumerable boutiques and branches of well-known chains.
The Plopsaland amusement park in the borough of Adinkerke is accessible via a completely separate road that goes from the station to the park. The coastal tram also stops at the amusement park.
